Keep Those Puppets Clean

Puppets are great educational tools. They have been used to provide visual enhancement to stories. Their beautiful costumes are entertainment enough but in the hands of a good puppeteer they come to life and become a special kind of entertainment. Because of their educational benefits and because they are generally a safe toy to allow children to play with, puppets are favorite toys that parents love to give to their kids. They even make their own versions from old socks using downloaded patterns from the internet.
Because these are toys that children love to play with, you can expect them to get soiled after a while. Be sure to keep them clean to avoid causing allergies and things like that. A hand puppet will generally be machine washable. Inspect them often enough to check for undone seams and torn parts. These can be easily repaired if attended to soon enough. Also, try to keep food and drinks away when children are playing with hand puppets. This will help keep the puppets clean longer.
