More and more children are being couch potatoes. This is mainly due to TV and video games. Look at them, most are too pale and they have the bodies of unhealthy middle age adults. That’s why I’m thankful for my parents who instilled the love of the outdoors in me. Even as kids, my parents would take my brothers and sisters to the park and play with kids outdoor toys.
Luckily for me, the park near us has lots of cool kids outdoor toys. My favorite is the swing set. It even has a boot camp obstacle course designed specifically for kids. Kids all over the neighborhood race with each other there until nighttime. Now, if you don’t have a park like that near your home, you can get other cool outdoor toys for your kids. A good one is a sandbox. You can also get the ever popular summer toy of slip and slide.
