sailing ship models

A sailboat is very intricate and very hard to navigate if you are a first-timer. I found that out when I went sailing with my family on a recent vacation. I may have fallen overboard, but that did not stop me from admiring the ingenious way that a sailboat works. The major wipeout was a family joke for the rest of the trip.
But I survived, thanks to the quick thinking of the rest of the crew and the fact that I had a life vest on. The only thing that died that day was my dignity. That is why I studied with a more experienced (and more mature) crew, and soon we were coasting along, with me manning the mainsail. Now I have started collecting sailing ship models as a hobby, and I am also raring to go for another outing with the family.
