Kids nowadays are given more toys than they can handle. Be more discriminating with the toys you buy for kids. Toys for toddlers, for instance, should capitalize on their interest in role-playing as well as cause-and-effect relationships. You have to remember that at this age, kids absorb concepts at a tremendous rate and they often do this during play.
The next time you buy a toy, remember to not only look at the enjoyment factor but more on the educational benefits the toy can give. Know that kids learn best when they’re having a good time. Unconsciously, they are developing many skills they will need later on in life.
