My kids and I would usually spend our afternoons together. I have managed to stay close to them by quitting my job and deciding to become a full time mother. I need to make sure that I am able to be there during their growing years and make them feel that I am very supportive of them. Parents are the basic foundation of support and I need to show them just that.
I only work with toys which bring in a lot of learning and values to my children. I also make sure that they develop skills in the long run. One of the things which I love to do is get my toddlers play with child building blocks. These things are just wonderful to have to help them develop their brains and motor skills as well. In time, these play sessions will show a lot of benefits to the child.
