early brain development

When we had our first child, my husband and I were very thankful that our son was born healthy. Now that our son is a year old, we want him to be involved with activities that stimulate early brain development. There are several products that promise to nurture and enhance the brain. We started by buying a milk formula that claims to have brain enhancers. Now we are looking into toys and books that promote early brain development.

Yesterday, I went to the toy store and looked for fun and interactive toys for toddlers. I also went to a bookstore and tried to look for books that might interest my son. I learned that there were books that were like toys. There were books that came with accessories such as speakers and pens that made sounds whenever a kid touches certain portions of the pages. It was amazing. Since I much prefer books over toys, I decided to get two of those electronic books to try at home.
