It is a great way to spend a rainy afternoon indoors. It is a form of entertainment, at the very least. On top of that, it is a time for the family to bond together. A card game session can be an educational event if the right games are chosen. Most games will teach math, spelling or trivia. Some will teach about religion such as Christian card games.
Christian card games come is varied titles but Amen is considered the #1 best selling card game in the market. It is a fast paced game whose objective is to get all of the cards into the center pile. It is not that easy because you can come across ‘trials’ and ‘temptations’ which can only be redeemed with a ‘prayer’ or ‘blessing’. Whoever discards all of his cards first gets to say ‘Amen’ and wins the game. It is an enjoyable way of imparting Christian values to children aged 8 and more.
