Only Niece

I only have one niece from my brother which I tend to spoil a lot. As a single gal, I have no child to support and would usually shower my niece with lavish gifts and toys which she loves. She is quite a smart child and she never ceases to bring joy and happiness in a room. This is the reason why I cannot help but be fond of her compared to her other siblings.

Whenever I come over to my brother’s house to visit them, I would usually bring a number of toys for my niece and her brothers as well. I would always try to find educational toys in order to ensure that these kids not only get to enjoy these toys; they are also able to learn something useful from it. These children matter much to me, and I would do anything just so I can keep them happy as if they were my own.

Learning Is Fun

For children, adults must be able to distract them and infuse play in order to teach them the basic things they must need to acquire early on. Parents would buy videos which teach ABCs or numbers by singing them out, or presenting graphics. This allows parents to be sure that their children’s attention is focused on the material and be able to grasp what it is teaching.

For children, it is best to get them some educational toys which allow them to gain more knowledge than conventional toys found in the market. These things offer numerous advantages for the child, allowing him to absorb as much information as possible without the child even knowing about it. This way, parents can take advantage of the fact that their child gets to absorb more information and data during this young and formative years.

One of the ways by which I can release my stress and tension is to paint during weekends. I love to be able to express myself through my art works. I hardly get the time to do this on a regular basis; but when I am burned out or problematic, I try to release my problems through painting. These art works are usually kept in my room or I hang around my walls. There are instances as well when I would give them out to family and friends as gifts.

Whenever I have the free time, I would proceed to my backyard and be inspired by nature while I paint. It is always relaxing whenever I feel the gentle breeze on my skin and listen to the birds chirping by the trees. Using my oil paint set, I release all my emotions and feelings during the particular moment and try not to think about what I will be painting. This is something which I do for the whole day, and I usually finish off feeling extremely happy and relieved afterwards.

Young Age

There are studies which show that parents must be able to put in place and lay the foundation for their baby’s development. Since the brains of children act like sponges during this stage, parents must start off right away in order for them to reap the benefits early on. The period from age three to eight is considered to be a critical time in the development of a child.

It is for this reason why early learning must be planned out in coordination with the rapid pace of baby brain development. Giving them a head start before they start in school will definitely bring in numerous benefits. Early start programs are known to increase a child’s IQ much higher than those who were not exposed to early development learning when they were children. When it comes to the welfare and future of the child, parents must always be able to give them the best.

One of the greatest savers for parents is day care centers. Most adults would need to get extra help and assistance from others as they may be too busy with work or swamped with many things to do. There are instances when parents are required to attend various functions in the office. Kids cannot be left alone in the house all by themselves, so it is best to keep them in day cares with the other kids. This way parents can be assured their kids are kept safe at all times.

There are many activities in the center which helps to keep kids entertained. These activities usually involve arts and crafts to make children forget about the time. Craft kits are often used by center staff in order to get everyone attentive and keep them from crying. This way, kids would not make too much of a noise while left alone by their parents.

Visiting the Doctor

My son was quite amazed with the roller coaster bead maze he had played with during our last visit to the dentist. The clinic now had an area for the kids to keep them occupied and entertained while we were waiting for our scheduled appointment. I think it is a great idea to have in these types of places, as children can become grouchy or irritable when they would need to wait for long without anything to keep them entertained.

My son was much too enamored, that he was a little pissed that we had to go to the doctor. I promised him I would get him his own set so he can play in the house, and so he immediately agreed. It was indeed an interesting piece of toy, and allows my son to work on his motor skills without him even knowing it. The clinic’s play area surely provided a great idea to me. Now I know I would need to get one for my son.

Natural Play

When at the beach, toddlers would usually be spending their time enjoying by the shore playing with sand. The texture of the material on their hands can be quite interesting for these youngsters. It allows them to be creative and imaginative during play. Playing with sand though would require that you go to the beach on a regular basis. So instead of driving down to the beach all the time, why not get it right in your home?

When it comes to imagination, there is not any other person with a wild sense of imagination than that of kids.
