Batteries usually take 3 to 5 hours of charging and would slow down as they lose their power. So you eventually have to shoot the weapon on semi-automatic when that happens.

Because it is powered by gas, it can deliver a stronger punch than an electric type. For long range shooting, you can be sure of a producing a longer projectile using gas powered rifles.

In a tactical team, sniper units should have the most powerful punches in weapons to cover longer ranges. However, a gas airsoft rifle is also popular as a short range semi-auto rifle because the compressed gas can provide a realistic blowback action. The gas used is either CO2 or green gas feed that is stored in the magazine chamber or in ammunition casings.
